Modena – the home of Maserati, after the appearance of Ghibli Hybrid was presented the first hybrid SUV of the brand – Maserati Levante Hybrid.
The new electrified Levante, superior to previous models with more power, is more environmentally friendly and even more unique. Without changing their philosophy, Maserati is evolving and expanding its family with this and future models of the Trident also be electrified. Maserati’s mission is to improve performance, offer agility and speed, while reducing fuel consumption, increase driving pleasure and enjoyment of luxury, and of course keep its imprint – unadulterated sound. The Maserati Levante Hybrid combines a 4-cylinder, 2-liter engine with a 48V hybrid system to restore energy during deceleration and braking. The hybrid vehicle weighs less than the 6-cylinder equivalent, of both diesel and petrol engines, and above all has even better weight distribution, as the battery is placed at the rear without compromising load capacity and optimal mass balancing. Everything is designed to make the Levante Hybrid even more agile and fun to drive.
Thanks to the maximum power of 330 hp and torque of 450 Nm, delivered from just 2250 rpm, the performance data of the new Levante Hybrid, available only with all-wheel drive, is impressive: top speed of 240 km/h and acceleration from 0 to 100 km/h for 6 seconds.
In terms of appearance, the Levante Hybrid version features a new three-layer metallic color named the Azzurro Astro, offered as part of the brand’s customization program, the Maserati Fuoriserie.
Maserati did not cheat on itself, but instead embarked on a new technological evolution and wrote the first chapter of its electrification history after the appearance of the first Ghibli Hybrid and Levante Hybrid.
